Summary
"Lelouch obtained the power of the Geass from a contract he entered with a mysterious girl named C.C. Using his power he wears a mask and begins his revenge against Britannia as 'Zero.' Sometimes he uses his disguise as Zero and the power of the Geass to save his friends and sometimes he uses it to wound a corrupt society. The civilians of Area 11 support Zero's actions, but the same cannot be said about Lelouch's best friend Suzaku" -- pages [4] of cover
